Some of the Chicest Black Dresses from the Golden Globes Could Soon Be Yours

They’ll be auctioned off starting January 19 with the funds going to the Time’s Up legal defense fund

Starting Friday, January 19 (a.k.a. tomorrow!) you’ll have the chance to buy the dress off your fave star’s back for a seriously good cause—but chances are, it’ll cost ya. On January 17, Condé Nast—publisher of Vogue, Glamour, Teen Vogue and Allure, NBD— announced that it was joining forces with Time’s Up to auction off the all-black ensembles worn in solidarity with the movement at the 2018 Golden Globes. And with stunning designer gowns like Zoe Kravitz’s sleek minimal Saint Laurent column gown and Tracee Ellis Ross’s immaculate Marc Jacobs situation headed to the eBay auction block with the cash benefitting the Time’s Up legal defense fund for women who have experienced workplace sexual assault and harassment, we predict the outfits will fetch a pretty penny for the super worthy cause.

“At Condé Nast, we’ve always believed in the importance of swift action to support meaningful social change,” said Anna Wintour, artistic director of Condé Nast and editor-in-chief of Vogue in a . “Through this auction powered by eBay, and harnessing the compelling pull of both fashion and activism, we’re hopeful that the black dresses worn at this year’s historic Golden Globe Awards will raise funds for the Time’s Up initiative, and serve to support the stories and voices of those who have been victims of sexual misconduct.”

At least 34 glamorous looks will be open for bidding including some of the most show-stopping of the night. Aside from the aforementioned gowns worn by Kravitz and Ellis Ross, you can also bid on Dakota Johnson and Margot Robbie’s iconic Guccis, Alicia Vikander, Michelle Williams and Emma Stone’s classic Louis Vuitton numbers and Saoirse Ronan’s impossibly slick Versace. In addition to the auction, designers Stella McCartney, Diane von Furstenberg and Rosie Assoulin—the creative forces behind Claire Foy’s suit, The Handmaid’s Tale’s Madeline Brewer’s gown and Mandy Moore’s red-accented dress—have donated their designs to a raffle in which shoppers can donate a minimum for $25 for a chance to win the gown of their choice.

The eBay auction kicks off on January 19 at 12 p.m. ET and will run a full week until January 26, a.k.a. plenty of time to break a sweat trying to outbid your competitors. For more deets (and to join the bidding war, if you dare), head to and to peep the dresses headed to the auction and raffle, click through the gallery below.
