Filorga Nutri-Filler Lips, $45,
The claim (in our own words): “Soy and castor oils combine with a pro-collagen peptide to moisturize and plump lips and revive your natural lip colour.”
The conclusion: “When I first applied this glossy balm, I was a little shocked at how thick it felt on my lips, and I was sort of missing the tingly feeling I got from lip plumpers of days past (hello, DuWop Lip Venom). But after a few uses, I really did notice a subtle—dare I say, more grown-up?!—plumping effect, with the lovely side benefit of soft, moisturized lips. The only downside? If you’re going to wear this under lipstick, it can’t be a matte formula, because this balm adds too much shine.” —Stacey LeeKong, acting managing editor
