Nicki Minaj and Ricky Martin Team Up With M.A.C

If Friday wasn’t already your favourite day of the week, maybe it will be now. In celebration of the release of her debut album, Nicki Minaj has teamed up with M.A.C to design a limited-edition lipstick shade that will be sold exclusively online for four Fridays in a row. Starting at the end of this week, hip hop fans and beauty junkies can scoop up the bubble gum shade, which shares its fitting name, Pink Friday, with Minaj’s first album, officially released today.

Though she’s a relative newcomer to the music spotlight, Minaj has already been getting a lot of attention. Whether it be her rotation of candy-coloured hair or record-setting music (she was the first female artist to top the Rap Songs chart unaccompanied in eight years), Minaj has already been dubbed the Lady Gaga of hip hop. With such a grand entrance to the scene–and such fab taste in lipstick–we’re definitely looking forward to seeing what’s next from this starlet.
